TEEN CLASSES: (age 13-18)
Our classes offer a comprehensive exploration of essential drawing and painting techniques, designed to help students develop the ability to “see like an artist.”
This involves mastering various drawing strategies, such as sight-size drawing for accurate proportions, utilizing negative space to enhance composition, and employing a viewfinder to frame subjects effectively.
Students will also learn how to deconstruct complex forms into simpler shapes, making it easier to capture their essence. In addition to drawing techniques, we delve into colour theory, covering topics such as colour schemes, harmonious combinations, and practical approaches to mixing paint for desired effects.
A more advanced exploration of art materials and mediums ensures that students gain confidence in selecting and using the right tools for their creative vision. We also introduce mixed media techniques, allowing for creative experimentation across different artistic styles.
Encouraging individual interpretation, our classes support students in developing their unique artistic voice while expanding their technical and conceptual skills.

ADULT CLASSES (age 19- ):
Our adult art classes are thoughtfully structured to encourage individual exploration and personal artistic growth. Each student is guided on their unique creative journey, allowing them to experiment with different styles, techniques, and mediums at their own pace.
Whether you are a complete beginner eager to discover your artistic potential or an experienced artist looking to refine your skills, our classes provide a supportive and inspiring environment tailored to all levels. With expert instruction and access to a variety of mediums, participants can develop their confidence, express their creativity, and bring their artistic visions to life.

Visual Arts as a School Subject (FET Phase: Grades 10–12)
Our Visual Arts program follows the official Department of Education curriculum and is also offered in partnership with the Impaq platform if your child is homeschooled.
Designed for high school students in the FET phase (Grades 10–12), this subject provides a well-rounded artistic education that combines both practical and theoretical components. Students will engage in termly practical projects, where they develop their technical skills and creative expression through various mediums. In addition to hands-on artmaking, learners will explore the history of art, gaining insight into different artistic movements, styles, and influential artists.
The course also includes structured preparation for formal assessments, including written tests and exams, ensuring students are equipped with both the practical and academic knowledge necessary for success in the subject. This subject has university exemption and assists with the apt point score.

“ F-L-O-U-R-I-S-H ”: An Artist’s Journey to Creative Freedom
Unlock Your Creative Potential is a transformative art course designed to help you break free from creative blocks, explore diverse mediums, and develop your unique artistic voice. Through guided exercises and self-discovery, you’ll gain confidence, embrace your creativity, and bring your authentic vision to life.
The student will take root, bud and blossom and fill the world with fruit.

Blender must be installed before classes begin. It is a free animation program size 500MB as soon as you enrol, we will send you the link to the Blender software program.

We do offer all our classes on an online platform. Whether you choose to join us in-person or online, our classes are designed to inspire and support your artistic journey. We offer a welcoming space where creativity thrives, and where you can explore your artistic potential in a supportive environment.
